These are the steps to renew NCA practicing license:

• Visit the NCA website.
• On the website home page, click on ‘Contractors’ then ‘Renewal of Practicing License’ and finally ‘License Renewal Portal’
• Log into your account with the national ID/passport number and password used during the registration process.
• To reset your password, click on “Forgot your password?” and key in the login credentials that you had registered with.
• Click “Send Password”.
• A new password will be sent to the phone number and email address registered under your account.
• After successful login, click on ‘Renewals’ then ‘Renewal of Practicing License’.

NCA Account Creation Process

These are the steps to create an account for a new contractor:

• Visit the NCA website.
• Click the ‘Contractors’ tab, then click on ‘Register to be a Contractor’. This will take you to the registration portal. Click on the register button to start creating your account
• Register an account by filling in the requested information in each field.

NCA Registration Process for a Local Contractor

These are the steps to register as a local contractor:

1. Log into your account with your National ID/Passport Number used during the registration process.
2. Click on the ‘New Application’ tab then click on the ‘New Contractor Registration’ option.
3. Fill in all the required sections uploading the necessary documents.
4. Remember to select the category you are applying for.
5. After submission of the online application, a one-time application fee of Ksh 5,000 will be paid, after which the application will be evaluated.

Renewal of Practicing License

The NCA practising license must be renewed annually and before 30th June to avoid penalties. However, for one to be able to do so, one must have gone through at least one training.
