How to Download and Print Covid-19 Certificate in Kenya

This is a guide on how to download and print the COVID-19 certificate in Kenya. After your dose or two doses of Covid-19, you can print your certificate online. This is done via a self-service portal provided by the government of Kenya.

This is a sure way of making the vaccination process and getting your COVID-19 certificate easy. What you will require is a computer with an internet connection or even a smartphone.

You can register for vaccination and select your preferred facility for vaccination

Once you get your Covid dose, you will be able to view the date vaccinated. Also your next vaccination date if any.

Once you have been vaccinated, you can download and scan your Kenya Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate

The Kenya Covid-19 Vaccination Portal allows you to view details such as date of birth, identification information and contact information

The Kenya Covid-19 Vaccination Portal allows you to add more identification information.

Verify Your Kenya COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate

To verify your Kenya COVID-19 certificate, scan the QR code provided on the certificate.

Use this service to Register for Blood Donation, Fill out the Donor Questionnaire form and verify your donation suitability.

Afya KE (Integrated Digital Health Platform)

Use this service to Register for medical services at your nearest health facility

How to Create Your Covid 19 Account

1. Access the Kenya Covid-19 Self-Service Portal.
2. On the top right-hand corner click on the create account link.
3. Select the Identification Type (National ID, Passport or Alien ID, etc.) used during registration.
4. Enter your email address and phone number.
5. Create a password that you will use to access the portal.
6. Click on sign up.

Note: You can also create an account or log in using the eCitizen Option which is also much quicker.

How to Print Covid-19 Certificate

1. After your account opens, click on my profile details.
2. Below your details, click on view my certificate.
3. Download and print your Covid-19 certificate.
4. Alternatively, click on the vaccination certificate option to access your certificate.

How to Register For COVID-19 Vaccination

This option is for those who are yet to be vaccinated.

1. Click register to open the registration form.
2. All inputs with an asterisk (*) must be filled
3. Your identification is essential, ensure you enter the correct details.
4. Ensure you fill in the correct contact details as they will be used to send your next vaccination schedule message.
5. Your next of kin details are required.
6. Indicate your location of residence that is where you live.
7. Select the health facility that is nearest to you or the facility you wish to go for vaccination.
8. Select the allergies/preexisting conditions that you have. If they are not in the list, fill in using the other allergies/conditions option.
9. Click open the consent form once you have filled in your details.
10. Select yes or no in the vaccine screening questions. The responses are required to proceed.
11. Read the next section carefully, then click Submit my details to give consent and complete registration.
